“Winter Romance Reviewed by Vernita Naylor for Readers' Favorite Is it love or is it lust? If it’s love, do you know it when you see it? Can you tell when you meet that special someone? Winter Romance by Lizzy Stevens is a great love story between Jennifer and Jeffrey. The connection between them is Mandy. Mandy is Jennifer’s best friend and Jeffrey’s cousin who set them up on a blind date one winter's day. Jennifer and Jeffrey cannot get enough of each other, but one day it was all abruptly cut short. Jennifer never saw Jeffrey again until ten years later she received a call that Mandy was in the hospital and that a child was involved. That child was left to the care of Jennifer. What is Jennifer to do? How can she leave her new life so abruptly and take on the care of a young child? Her loyalty to her friend changes that entirely and she goes back to her hometown to begin caring for the child. As Jennifer is making the adjustments back home, a series of whirlwind adventures begin. I enjoyed reading Winter Romance by Lizzy Stevens because it is not only a love story but a life story as well. As a life story, it talks about the challenges, choices, decisions and encounters that we all face on a daily basis. Everything that we do and how we handle it determines its outcome. I enjoyed how Lizzy interwove the elements of life and love through each chapter. Each chapter was written as if it was a movie scene. If you want to experience a story about love, life and tough decisions, and enjoy the ride, getting a copy of Winter Romance by Lizzy Stevens is a great choice.”

“"Locked In A Castle" Reviewed By Rabia Tanveer for Readers’ Favorite Locked In A Castle by Lizzy Stevens is the story of a young woman named Kelly with simple needs and simple likes. However, she is not like your average woman. While most girls her age would be out and about, living their dream life and falling in love, Kelly is stuck inside her castle. She is locked there and she can never leave its premises. She spends the nights as a human and the days as a ghost, never in the reach of anything. She is cursed to live this life until someone comes by and breaks the curse for good. She can’t leave the castle so how can she bring someone into her life that will break the curse for her? Figuring this out is taking a toll on her mind and body and there isn’t much she can do about it. Will she ever find someone to break the curse for her? Or is she doomed to live like this forever? This story was the perfect slice of life. The author has done a wonderful job of writing a concise and complete story. This is a fast-paced and lovely romance where you will find a mixture of Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty all mixed into one modern tale of romance. I really enjoyed reading the interactions between Kelly and Jack; they had a very sweet relationship which added depth to the story. Dane is such a charmer; he is considerate, determined and well-suited with Kelly. I enjoyed reading this story a lot more than I anticipated. Really good!”

“Don't Make A Wish by Lizzy Stevens and Steve Miller with Jason and Noah Miller is a charming short story about an unwelcome genie. Tara's grandmother and only living relative has just passed away. Taking a couple of weeks off from work, Tara begins planning the funeral and going through her grandmother's things. A discovery in the attic changes the course of her life in an unprecedented and unpredictable way. Her grandmother left specific instructions to leave an ancient lamp alone, but Tara didn't heed her warning. Now she is faced with a hostile genie with an unkind sense of humor. She doesn't want his stupid wishes, anyway. How does she make the persistent djinn go away without causing them both collateral damage?”

She doesn't recall what happened to her, nor does she recognize her home or her parents. Alley has vivid dreams of a pure white horse with wings and a very good-looking man who calls out to her, begging her to return to him. The two fantastic beings continue to haunt her dreams as she struggles with the unknown reality she finds herself in. Which is real - the man of her dreams or her perfect home and loving parents?”

“An absent member of a dynamic magical family is restored in the fascinating novella, Lucinda's Story (Ravencrest Series Book 1), by Lizzy Stevens and Steve Miller. Lucinda is orphaned after losing her father in a hunting accident and her mother to cancer. Aunt Agnes, her father's sister, is the only family she has left. Lucinda doesn't know her very well as she only sees her aunt once or twice a year. Unfortunately, just before her twenty-fifth birthday, Lucinda is informed that her Aunt Agnes has passed away. Aunt Agnes has left her estate to Lucinda. However, there are unconventional terms attached to the will. Lucinda must make Aunt Agnes's home her residence, and she may never sell it. The other stipulations are to maintain the property and care for those who live within its borders. Never having visited her Aunt Agnes there, Lucinda is puzzled by the last two conditions of the will. Who will Lucinda be caring for? Most importantly, why can't they take care of themselves? Lucinda's Story (Ravencrest Series Book 1) by Lizzy Stevens and Steve Miller is an engaging short story of a young woman who comes into her power. It is the enchanting first episode of a new series, and it contains the hallmarks for a thrilling sequel. This initial installment is the introduction to Lucinda's character and her role in the series. This charming novella is eloquent and smoothly flows until it comes to an abrupt halt, awaiting a thrilling debacle to ensue in the forthcoming episodes. This is a captivating short read that will appeal to those who love stories which embrace the concepts of good versus evil magic.”

“Blackbeard's Treasure by Lizzy Stevens What first attracted me to want to read this is the word treasure. Love a mystery and knew this would be one. Remember reading some of Lizzy's other books and loved that she got to the point of the matter, weaving a tale that kept you interested throughout the book. This was one of her best romance/mystery ones to date. Starts out with Cassie who is attempting to clean out her grandfather's house in Missouri and has to go through boxes of things he had inherited when he bought the house. Piles of boxes from floor to ceiling. I can just imagine the treats there. She did find a journal and takes it and her helped Levi back to San Diego for a week so she can check on her diving school and her condo on the beach. The journal speaks of Edward Teach and how he had passed away and left her mother a treasure. Cassie didn't know the connection between that name and the pirate Blackbeard til Levi brought it up while helping her sort through boxes. Just when the clues are all adding up and they are about to discover more things a medical emergency happens putting a halt to all those plans. Some unspoken things are finally said between the two so they know where they stand... Love all the instructions and time spent in the water diving. Very detailed descriptions and just the words used make this an excellent read, one that takes you to unexplored places...”

“Ravencrest book one Lucinda's Story When Lucinda’s Aunt Agnes (father’s sister) leaves her an estate, she discovers she comes from a magical family. Once I got into the story I was hooked. Very interesting. My genre to read is not fantasy, but this was great read. I’ll be reading the next in series.”
